Naval Air Station property plans to be announced in November
The Horsham Land Reuse Authority (HLRA) will share a final plan for the Willow Grove Naval Air Station property in November. The HLRA is the board that was appointed to decide what to do with the almost 900 acres of land that was freed up in Horsham Township with the closure of the Naval Air Station in September. The Navy will need to accept the plans for the property. Working with a planning consultant, the HLRA and Horsham Township have agreed that the final plans will have a town center, hotel and conference center, residential area, open space and possibly a regional sports complex
